Kevin was raised in Northwest Oklahoma in the middle of the oil patch and cowboy country. He graduated from Woodward High School and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Graduating from OU in 1994, he went to work for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Co. until he created the first Human Performance Center (HPC) in Woodward in 1998. Over the next 19 years, HPC grew to 10 clinics with 4 being in rural areas and 6 in the OKC metro.
Over the past 24 years, Kevin has dedicated himself to improving his professional skills in physical therapy, sports medicine, and performance training with athletes of all ages. Kevin continued his post-graduate education by getting his Certification in Dry Needling (Cert. DN) and becoming a National Board-certified Athletic Trainer. As an athletic trainer, Kevin is licensed locally in Oklahoma and is nationally certified which has allowed him the privilege of working on the Justin Sports Medicine Team for over 25 years. He has worked rodeos across the state of Oklahoma as well as the PRCA National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the best athletic trainers’ partner with the best sports medicine physicians, to provide care and treatment for the most successful rodeo athletes each year. In addition, he spent 3 years as the assistant Athletic Trainer for our local professional hockey team, the Oklahoma City Blazers. These professional experiences have provided opportunities for Kevin to experience and learn from some of the most elite sports medicine physicians and athletic trainers in the nation.
In 2017, Kevin and his business partners sold their physical therapy private practices – Human Performance Centers (HPC). The idea of selling the businesses was born when Kevin’s primary business partner was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2015, and in 2017 the sale became final. In 2020, Terrance Cason passed away after a courageous battle to live. He is survived by his two adult children and a granddaughter.
